First light in the Brooklyn Naval Hospital.  This was the first print of mine that ever hung in a proper museum - the Brooklyn Museum, in 2008.  It’s also the first of many staircase shots you will be seeing on this new Tumblr, because I have a staircase fetish.

I am honestly going to post this everyday. 
Spread awareness people. 

This makes me feel a million times better.

Something important to remember is that even at the same height, people have different builds. Some people are framed smaller or large, and how that weight is made up is different for each person. You can weigh much more than someone of the same height/build due to muscle or bone density, or other factors. While it’s important to maintain a healthy lifestyle, charts like these aren’t 100% accurate and it’s more important to live in a way that doesn’t hurt you than to try to lose weight just to fit a “target” weight.
This picture made the rounds a while back, with 6 women who all weighed the same 70kg/154 pounds, but had very different body types

As you can see, people with the same height can still appear to weigh significantly more/less, and likely with different levels of fitness.
TL;DR: don’t worry about numbers, just make sure you’re not giving yourself unnecessary health risks, and if you absolutely need to change your lifestyle to lose/gain weight, seek a trusted doctor or fitness trainer’s opinion on what the best course of action is for you to be healthy.
